The sun was shining and the water was sparkling last Saturday for the Port Bouvard Surf Life Saving Club’s ‘Open Day’. Located at Pyramids Beach, the surf club opened their doors for Nippers and Membership registration, and also for the official opening of the Florida Beach Function Room.

At the beginning of this year, Florida Beach Partnership generously sponsored PBSLSC to the tune of $50,000. This was a cash donation to be used by the club for whatever they need. In return, Florida Beach was honored with naming rights to their function room. Club Vice President, Murray Horbury thanked the land estate development and welcomed John Perry on behalf of Florida Beach to cut the ribbon, officially opening the room to the public. The Function Room is available for hire by contacting the club.

Port Bouvard Surf Life Saving Club is a great community organisation that promotes water safety, education and community involvement. There are a range of activities on offer including surf patrol, Nippers Junior Beach Program and Youth Group. Mandurah Board Riders also run their activities from the club house with surfing programs for boys and girls aged from 8 – 16 years. Port Bouvard Surf Life Saving Club currently has over 400 members and is growing annually.

Residents of Florida Beach land estate are very lucky to have the surf club and its amenities so close. If you’re looking for a homesite in a suburb with great community spirit, there is a range of land for sale at Florida Beach. From easy care lifestyle lots through to large family sized homesites, all with generous early building incentives on offer. It was a cold couple of nights for some Madora Bay buyers who spent two nights camping at the Sales Office in anticipation of the new land release – Stage 19a. By Friday night there were seven parties who had set up camp. Spirits were high as the new ‘neighbours’ discussed the homesites they wanted to buy. Estate Manager, Bryan Cusick provided the eager buyers with piping hot pizza and the Sales Office remained open for use of the amenities. With the footy being a hot topic on the night, one buyer even brought down a TV so they could all watch the West Coast Eagles fly to victory. More people arrived at 5am and 7am ready for the official release at 9am on Saturday 12th September.

Needless to say 45% of the new stage was eagerly snapped up on the first day. Stage 19a represents excellent value for money and there are still some great blocks available ranging in size from 320sqm to 666sqm. They all come with a FREE fencing and landscaping package, naturally conditions apply.

Madora Bay has proven to be such a popular land estate that it has become very common for buyers to camp overnight at a new land release in order to secure a first choice homesite. This is largely due to the quality of the beachside neighbourhood and its close proximity to Mandurah and Perth via the Kwinana Freeway. There’s more than one reason why Madora Bay is known as
‘The Right Side of the Road’, come down and take a look for yourself. For more information call Bryan Cusick on 9582 0489 or visit madorabay.com.auPage 1 Promo 17.09.15

When it comes to building your home, we all know that location is king. So why settle for living on the ‘other’ side of the road when now you can afford to buy on ‘The Right Side of The Road’?

There has been a great deal of anticipation for the release of this land which features a great range of homesites from easy-care lifestyle lots up to family sized blocks of 897m2. They are priced from $185,000 plus they all come with a FREE Colorbond fencing and landscaping package, naturally conditions apply. Located adjacent to ‘Madora Bay Hill’, these homesites are close to parks and some even feature ocean views down the coastline to Mandurah Ocean Marina.

Interested buyers have been waiting patiently (and not so patiently) for the release of this land and it is anticipated that some will even camp overnight at the Sales Office in order to secure their first choice block.

The ‘Great Sale’ starts at 9am sharp on Saturday 12th September at the Sales Office located on Lord Hobart Drive. Blocks will be sold on a first in – best dressed basis, so make sure you’re there to secure your first choice homesite in this highly sought after land estate. Dawesville is one of Mandurah’s southern most suburbs and includes Port Bouvard Southport, Florida Beach Estate, Melros and Bouvard Woods. It is linked to Mandurah by a bridge across the Dawesville Channel which was built between 1990 and 1994 to create a channel of water between the Peel-Harvey Estuary and the Indian Ocean. Like most Mandurah suburbs, Dawesville is lucky to be surrounded by water offering its residents a wide range of water activities including boating, fishing, crabbing, surfing and swimming. The boat ramp located along the Dawesville Foreshore is a very popular spot in summer. Dawesville also has a great range of community activities including the internationally renowned Cut Golf Course and Country Club, Port Bouvard Surf Lifesaving Club at Pyramids Beach and the Port Bouvard Recreation & Sporting Centre. Daweville has a quiet, relaxed atmosphere and is well known for its large population of kangaroos.Spotlight on Dawesville
